He is survived by: his wife Peggy Taylor Newsom; his son Scott Newsom of Golo, KY; his sisters, Joann Rodgers (Billy Gerald) of Farmington, KY, Carol Craig of Evansville, IN and Sally Curry (Mike) of Mayfield, KY; and his granddaughters, Corrine Nichy and Amber Nichy.
