He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jean Alderice Halsell; his sister Betty Arnett; and his parents, George Halsell and Callie Garrison Halsell. He is survived by: his children, Steve Halsell (Teresa) of Mayfield, KY and Stephanie Halsell West (John) of Hickory, KY; his close friend Doris Colley of Mayfield, KY; his grandchildren, Brittaney Halsell, Aaron West and Brittain West; and his great grandchildren, Callie Halsell, Atlas West, Caleb West and Joshua West.
