He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bowlin and May Bowlin; his son Robert G. Bowlin, III; his sisters, Rita May Holder and Patricia Ann Holder; and his niece Crystal Dianne Holder.
He is survived by: his wife Belinda Bowlin of Mayfield; his children, Ella Clorece Draven of Missouri, Christopher Taylor Bowlin of Mayfield and Jeffrey L. Bowlin (Haley Langston) of Mayfield; his granddaughter Kairi Jayde Brooks of Missouri; and his siblings, Charles Eritt Bowlin (Mary Ann) of Union City, TN, Mark Taylor Bowlin (Tina) of Clinton and Ruby Baker of Clinton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
