We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2024, at the age of 88, Robert Dumas (Mayfield, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Codel Dumas and Louis V. Moss, Sr.; his stepfather Homer Thomas; his former wife Margaret Dumas; his wife Gertrude Dumas; and his siblings, Louis Moss, Jr., Charles E. Moss, Shirley Edwards, Louise Moss and Racine Owens.
He is survived by: his son Robert Dumas; his stepchildren, Mabel Lovelace, Laura McKiver and Lee Lovelace; his sisters, Mabel Brooks of Mayfield and Ethelene Carman of Mayfield; and his close friend Mabel Kay Duffy. He is also survived by five grandchildren, thirteen great-grand children; and one great-great grandchild.
