He was predeceased by: his brother David Brown; his stepdaughter Pamela Whitehead; and his parents, John Travis and Ruth Carr Brown. He is survived by: his wife Diana Gill Brown; his stepson Matthew T. Whitehead (Renee) of Columbia, TN; his daughter Danyel Bailey (Dwayne) of Durham, NC; his brothers, William Brown (Bitsy) of Mayfield, KY and John Travis Brown, Jr. (Carmel) of Mayfield, KY; and his grandchildren, Jaden Whitehead, Loren Whitehead, Hannah Whitehead, Tierney Bailey, Micah Bailey, Delaney Bailey, McKenzie Baum and Matthew Baum.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Byrn Funeral Home (1020 Paris Rd, Mayfield, KY 42066).
