It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Jean Howard (Mayfield, Kentucky), who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Howard; and her parents, Jennings Bryan Hamlett and Aura Ethel Hamlett. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Howard (Jeanie Beard Howard) of Boone, NC, Janice Stevens of Decatur, GA, Donna Swatzell (Thomas Swatzell) of Rogersville, MO, John Howard (Kathy Green Howard) of Sedalia, KY and Angela Coltharp (Robert Coltharp) of Sedalia, KY. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House, 803 Poplar St., Murray, KY 42071.
