We bid farewell to Nyla Marjorie Godwin of Mayfield, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 20, 2025 at the age of 97. Nyla Marjorie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Williams and Grace Williams; her siblings, Elihue Williams, Doris Ann McCaslin, Dwayne Williams and Cherrye Rice; her son-in-law John McClung; and her grandson Chris Carter.
She is survived by: her sister Karen Orr; her children, Naomi Wilhoite (Mark), Charlie Godwin (Martha) and Ruth McClung; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Coffman (Brad), Leah Antle (Jeffrey), Casta Lancaster (OJ) and Rachel Kuffner (Casey). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Byrn Funeral Home (1020 Paris Rd, Mayfield, KY 42066).
