With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nelson Rayburn Hite of Mayfield, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 4, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Elwanda Fleming Hite; his sister Jane Wilson (Herbert); and his parents, Rayburn Hite and Henrietta Curd Hite. He is survived by: his daughter Christy Green of Mayfield, KY; his grandson Bryan Green (Nicole) of Mayfield, KY; his great grandchildren, Landen Green and Abby Green; his brother Gary Hite of Mayfield, KY; his niece Alaine Champy (Darrell); and his nephews, Alan Wilson and Stevan Hite.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Northside Baptist Christian School at 711 N. 12th St. Mayfield, KY 42066.
