She was predeceased by: her husband Will J. Violet; her mother Abby Jack Bricker; and her siblings, George Payne, Warren Payne, Patsey Plue and Merall Lago.

She is survived by: her daughter Margaret "Maggie" Warsow; her son-in-law David Warsow; and her grandchildren, Jennie Kemp (Jeremy), Chris Mitchell (Paris) and John Pruitt. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
