She was predeceased by: her husband Martin "Nap" Skaggs; her siblings, Elouise Holland, Jack Brooks and Pete Brooks; and her parents, Eddie Nolan and Laura Jane Angel Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Skaggs (Jeff Olinger) of Indianapolis, IN, David Joe Skaggs (Vanessa) of Mayfield, KY and Stevie Skaggs of Mayfield, KY; her granddaughter Erica Johnson (Jeremy) of Hickory, KY; her great grandchildren, Makiya Johnson and Hazyl Johnson; and her siblings, Gerald Brooks (Pam) of Mayfield, KY, Dorothy Pierceall (Robert) of Mayfield, KY and Mary Palmer of Mayfield, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
