He was predeceased by: his former wife Dorothy Bane Travis; his wife Sue Morris Travis; his parents, Chesley Travis and Rachel Copeland Williams; his granddaughter Sierra Madelyn Walker; his sister Carolyn Hicks; and his sons-in-law, Bill McCallon and David Stinson.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Walker Stinson of Mayfield, Kim Horton (Keith) of Murray, KY and Eddie Travis (Teresa) of Paducah, KY; his siblings, Marie Harrison, Donna Copeland, Greg Travis and Jimmy L. Travis; his grandchildren, John Travis, Larry Wayne Travis, Novice Doublin, Whitney Ellis (Brian), Ashlin Rives (Keith), Brady Walker (Cheyenne), Vanessa Walker (Cade), Nicole Sweat, Eli Walker, Damion Walker (Krista), Dakota Walker, Gavin Walker, Lucas McCallon (Jessica), Shelby Horton and Kacy Horton; and his great grandchildren, Emily, Braydon Ellis, Reide Cravens, Sabre Walker, Raleigh Skaggs, Aiden Foy, Sawyer, Tripp McCallon and Asher Skaggs.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home - Mayfield (1223 W Broadway, Mayfield, KY 42066). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
