She was predeceased by: her husband Mark Babb; her sister Sheila Bates; and her parents, Lawrence Tynes and Shirley Langston. She is survived by: her sons, Steven Franklin Holmes Jr. and Chad Allen Carter; her stepdaughter Alisa Babb; her brother William Tynes; her nephew Eric Bancura; her nieces, Breeley and Briley; her sister Peggy Caldwell; and her stepmother Mary Thorne.
