He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Bennett Sr. Kenny; his brother Kevin Bennett; and his great-grandparent Rosie Hohne. He is survived by: his mother Janet Pettis; his wife LaTosha J. Bennett; his children, Michael Bennett, Jessica Bennett, Sarah Bennett, Michelle Bennett, Ashley Neal and Alyssa Neal; his grandchildren, Zavi Barrow, Emila Nowlin, Zaria Bennett, Addison Ezell and Roman Raymond; his stepfather Jimmy Pettis; his sister Karla Lawrence; his brother-in-law Shawn Lawrence; his cousins, Shane, Lisa, Erica, Angela, Barry, Bruser, Sarana, Jimmy, Beth, Janice, Ronnie and Dorothy; his nieces, Kayla Lawrence and Samantha Lawrence; and his nephew Shawn Lawrence Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
