It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Mae Phelps of Mayfield, Kentucky, who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, C. D. Sanderson and Esther Lee Sanderson (Rogers); her daughters, Linda Perkins and Debbie Crider; and her siblings, Edward Sanderson of Randal Sanderson, J. W, Charles Sanderson and Onetta Russelburg.
She is survived by: her children, Norma Felts (Jackie) of Fancy Farm, KY, Donald Phelps (Donna) of Farmington, KY, James Phelps (Wanda) of Mayfield, KY, Deena Heath (Ronnie) of Hardin, KY and Scott Phelps of Mayfield, KY; and her sisters, Martha McKinney of Mayfield, KY, Patsy Hollan of Mayfield, KY, Mary Copeland of Mayfield, KY and Nancy Copeland of Mayfield, KY. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 9 great great-grandchildren.
