Joseph A. Mathys Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph A. Mathys of Mayfield, Kentucky, born in Canton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Mathys and Agnes Aldridge Mathys; and his siblings, Joan and John Mathys. He is survived by: his wife Wanda; and his daughter Joan (Da-Yu Wu).
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church (20 KY-339, Fancy Farm, KY 42039). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
