He was predeceased by: his brother Dr. James H. Adams, Jr.; his parents, Dr. James H. Adams, Sr. and Sara DeLaudson Adams; and his mother-in-law Jean Ann Seavers. He is survived by: his wife Jana Bennett Adams; his children, Alex Goodman (Tyler) of Mayfield, KY, Todd Grooms (Ashley) of Nashville, TN, Eric Noonan (Abby) of Mayfield, KY and Kory Wheeler of Marion, KY; his sister Amanda Korfhage (Louis) of Louisville, KY; and his sister-in-law Julie Adams of Mayfield, KY. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
