He was predeceased by: his wife Beverley Evans Humes; his son Douglas Humes; his siblings, Gary Humes and Betty Henry; and his parents, Orval Humes and Louina Hurt Humes.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Humes (Jane) of Fort Atkinson, WI and Terri Humes of Paducah, KY. He is also survived by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
