She was predeceased by: her daughter Susan Elaine Illichmann; her siblings, Sam Tackett, James Tackett, Howard Tackett, Estelle Goin, Clara Tackett and Pauline McGary; her great grandchild Tiffany Nicole Readenour; and her parents, Hugh Tackett and Avie Hayden Tackett.
She is survived by: her husband John Henry Burgess; and her children, Danny Burgess (Julia) of Lone Oak, KY, James Hugh Burgess (Cindy) of Mayfield, KY and Janie Ellegood (David) of Mayfield, KY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
