He is survived by: his son James Thomas Dowdy (Shawntel) of Mayfield, KY; and his siblings, David Dowdy of Sedalia, KY, Terry Dowdy of Paducah, KY and Charlotte Osborne of Paducah, KY. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
