He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Scarbrough and Opal Vincent Scarbrough; his siblings, Charles Scarbrough, Bobby Scarbrough, Bill Scarbrough, Howard Scarbrough, Jean Henderson, Hilda Lovett, Linda Day and Betty Necaise; and his daughter Jennifer Lynn Scarbrough.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Smith Scarbrough; his sons, Jeff Scarbrough (Beth) of Mayfield and Scott Scarbrough (Chasity) of Columbus, Ohio; his grandchildren, Megan Blount (Norland) of Mayfield, Katie Beth Scarbrough (Colton Moon) of Bruceton, TN, Charlie Brooks Scarbrough and James David Scarbrough of Columbus, OH; and his great grandchildren, Case Blount, Billie Ann Blount of Mayfield, Schuyler Moon and Hayes Moon of Bruceton, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
