Jacquiline Marie Newsome Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jacquiline Marie Newsome (Mayfield, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2025 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas Allard Hayden (Anna Marie Sanders); her husband Roy Lee Newsome; her siblings, Linda Sue Elrod (Kenneth) and Johny Joe Hayden; and her grandparents, Damiena Aloysius Hayden (Nancy Cora Courtney) and Alvin Sanders (Rosa Ella Toon).

She is survived by: her son Allen Newsome (Marilyn Gaye Martin); her godchildren, Ashton Allen Antonetty and Alyvia Marie Antonetty of Powder Springs, GA; and her sisters, Mary Roselyn Rappa of LaPlata and Agnes Charleen Daniels (Lowell) of Oregon. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mt Haven Baptist Church (9087 KY-58, Mayfield, KY 42066).

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to The Gideon International to honor her memory and help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.
