It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Joy Russelburg of Mayfield, Kentucky, who passed away on November 7, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband James Elliott; her husband Leon Russelburg; her daughter Joy Elaine Cullen; her siblings, Billy Burkeen and Lurleen Ray; and her parents, Aubrey Burkeen and Nellie Copeland Burkeen.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Elliott (Trena) of Boaz, KY, Rhonda Brittain of Paducah, KY and Judy Moore (Tommy) of Mayfield, KY; and her siblings, Aubrey "Junior" Burkeen of Mayfield, KY, Charles "Jack" Burkeen (Marilyn) of Wingo, KY, Bobby Burkeen (Becky) of Mayfield, KY and Frances Scoggins (Neal) of Mayfield, KY. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
