He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Wheeler and Hazel Raymer Wheeler (Raymer); his brother Larry Wheeler; his brother-in-law Charles W. Ford; and his father-in-law James E. Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Shelton Wheeler; his children, Jarred Wheeler (Sheila) of Atoka, TN., Brandon Dixon, Murray and Leona Brown (Damon); his siblings, Dwight Wheeler (Beverly) of Union City, TN. and Tina Williams (Mike) of Union City, TN.; his grandchildren, Kelton Brown, Rylin Brown, Logan Wheeler and Garret Wheeler; his mother-in-law Gladys Shelton; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Shelton (Vicki) of Mayfield, Eddie Shelton (Kim) of Mayfield, Jerry Shelton (Bridget) of Mayfield and Beverly Shelton Ford of Mayfield.
