He was predeceased by: his sister Dot Kilcoyne; and his parents, Charles Elder and Aline Elder. He is survived by: his sisters, Ruth Ann Higdon (Wayne) of Fancy Farm, Betty Campbell (Ray) of Az, Margaret Cole of Columbus, Helen Sullivan (Larry) of Mayfield, Donna Pilcher (Dennis) of Ia and Debra Caldwell (Donnie) of Hickory; and also, Lyndal Elder (Carolyn) of Ca, Rudy Elder of Kevil, Michael Elder (Ruth), Mark Elder of Fancy Farm, Philip Elder (Evie) of Fancy Farm and Larry Elder (Sherry) of Fancy Farm. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
