She was predeceased by: her parents, Elliott Cates, Jr. and Ann Gish Givens. She is survived by: her stepfather Monroe Givens of Henderson, KY; her children, Christopher Cates, Michelle Tunstall (Darin) of Santa Rosa, CA and Stephanie Wilkie of Kelseyville, CA; and her brother Michael Givens of Eddyville, KY. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
