With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danny Lee Sanderson of Mayfield, Kentucky, who passed away on December 16, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Brandi Gibson; his brothers, Charles Russell, Wilber Ray Sanderson and Harold Sanderson; and his parents, Wilburn Sanderson and Alene Felts.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Ferguson Sanderson; his children, Scott James of Ocala, FL, Dawn Spurling (Scott) of Lawndale, NC, Danni Michelle Taber of Mayfield, KY and Lori Sanderson of Fancy Farm, KY; and his stepchildren, Roy Calhoun of Murray, KY and Johnna Johnson (Marcus) of Trenton, TN. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
