He was predeceased by: his parents, W. F. "Willie" Foster and Kitty Hawes Foster. He is survived by: his wife Angie Foster; his children, Dr. Charles Tanner Foster of Murray, KY, Stacey Richard (Jathan) of Springhill, TN, Ellen Martin (Pepper) of Franklin, TN and Channing Foster Allen (Will) of Oxford, MS; and his grandchildren, Amelia Martin, Grace Wicker and Jesse Richard.
