With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill McAlpin of Mayfield, Kentucky, who passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara McAlpin and Ardell McAlpin; and his sister Bonnie Calvert. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Tucker McAlpin; his children, Darla Frick (Jackie) of Jackson, TN, Jeff McAlpin (Tammy) of Evans, GA and Chad McAlpin (Melinda) of Bonita Springs, FL; his siblings, Jean Dawson (Willis), Raymond McAlpin (Linda) and George McAlpin (Diane); and his grandsons, Joshua Frick, Jaren Frick, Taylor McAlpin, Tucker McAlpin, Tanner McAlpin, Hunter Grant and Levi Wiggins. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home - Mayfield (1223 W Broadway, Mayfield, KY 42066). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
