He was predeceased by: his parents, John M, Sr. and Ida Cain (Carroll); his wife Linda Cain (Yocom); and his siblings, Hillard, Opal, Wardie, Dillard and Bill.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Cain, Troy Cain (Frances) and Jason L. Cain (Sara); and his grandchildren, Logan, Jacob, Amelia, Gideon, Oliver and Archer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165).
