He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Block and Mary A. Block (Hardesty); and his son David J. Block. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Husk Neill; his children, Sarah E. Sheets (Dan), Mary Susan Sutherland and Andrew F. Block; his grandchildren, Rachel, Michael, Nathan (Madelyn), Isaac, Leah Sheets, Noah, Jacob and David Sutherland; and his siblings, Edward L., Gerald R., Ronald L. Block, Angela M. Fenlon (Pat), Husk and Claude Sutherland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
