She was predeceased by: her parents, Elberta Jones, (Cunningham) and Leon Jones, Sr.; and her siblings, Richard Jones, Leon "Bobby" Jones, Jr., Pam Cox and Saundra Felts.
She is survived by: her husband Clifford "Don" Tharp, Sr.; her siblings, Larry Jones (Patty), Johnny Jones (Kathy) and Pat Conne (Mike); her sons, Clifford "Donnie" Tharp, Jr. (Traci) and Ronald Lee Tharp (Danna); her grandchildren, Cliff "Donnie" Tharp III (Jennifer), Amanda Jaggers, Katie Sims (James), Vincent "Mikie" Tharp, Ronald Tharp, Jr. (Tori) and Amber Tharp (Bryan); and her great grandchildren, Donovan, Jaxon, Phoebe, Lily, Wesley, Mary Rose, Olivia, Maisie, Paisley, Braxton, Charlotte and Coraline. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Homes - Dixie Highway (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Owen Funeral Home (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216).
In lieu of flowers, Mary requested donations to the Home of the Innocents.
