He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Banks and Lilly Crisp Banks; his son Michael Houston Banks; and his sister Rhoda Sue Banks. He is survived by: his children, Walter Banks (Kimberly) of Prestonsburg and Valerie Joy Banks; his grandson Jason Michael Chase Banks; and his brother James E. Banks of Allen.
