She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Potter and Reva "Funk" Potter Slone; her husband Johnny Goble Adkins; and her brothers, Oscar Potter, Douglas Potter and Adali Potter.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Childers (Tracie) of Elkhorn City, KY, Tony Childers (Jennifer) of Elkhorn City, KY, Karen Woolwine (Kenny Cantrell) of Elkhorn City, KY and Patricia Owens (Johnny Blake) of Martin, KY.
