He was predeceased by: his mother Virgie Parsons; his former wives, Daisy Lou Bush and Sharon Kaye Keathley; his niece Hall (Williard); and his brother Russell (Tena).

He is survived by: his wife Sue Neece; his sons, Tracy Dwight Neece and Stanton Dale Neece (Mendy); his grandchildren, Alona Howard (Doug), Chloe Neece and Cadie Ann Neece; his great grandchildren, Ashton Kruz Howard and Axton Reese Howard; and his sisters, Henrietta Orsborn (Bud) and Linda Sue Padgett (David).

Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Martin (7 Clinic Dr, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
