She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lawson and Minda Hall Lawson; and her siblings, Thomas Lawson, Mousie Lawson and Nora Tackett.
She is survived by: her sons, Johnny Lawson (Brenda Lee) of Honaker, KY and Jimmy Lawson (Lorene) of Stanville, KY; and her grandchildren, Nick, Amanda, Brittany, Nathan and Austin. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
