He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Erzie and Stella Howell Hamilton; his former wife Sadie Gillespie Newsome; and his siblings, Joseph Newsome, Tanzel Dean Newsome, Ruby Jean Hamilton and Brenda Sue Newsome.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Newsome; his children, Jonathan Newsome, Christopher Newsome and Natasha Newsome; his siblings, Earl Dean Newsome, Daniel Newsome, Michael Newsome, Kathleen Taylor, Hollie Beard, Mary Alice Crace and Marcella Bailey; and his grandchildren, Cameron, Kiera, Kristen, Ezrie, Sadie, Braxton, Seth, Christopher Chase and Marahia Cheyanne.
