He is survived by: his spouse Beverley Chaffins Samons; his mother Marie Jones Samons of Martin, KY; his son Jeffery Bret Samons of Martin, KY; his stepdaughter Whitney Slone (Seth) of Pippa Passes, KY; and his siblings, Terry Samons of Sevierville, TN, Linda Bartrum (Walter) of Martin, KY, Donna Bartrum (John) of Eastern, KY and Melissa Martin (Matt) of Martin, KY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
