He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland and Mary Hall Irick; his siblings, Taylor, Abb, Van, Clyde, Woodrow, Newton, Albert Irick, Jane Denham, Reeley Clark, Rachel Clark, Audrey Parsons and Marion Conn; his great grandchildren, Lilly May Hoskins and Kainin Gabriel Hoskins; and the mother of his children Darnell Edmonds Irick.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Hoskins (Mike) of Stanville, KY, Harry Dean Irick (Darlene) of Betsy Layne, KY, James Gary "Jim" Irick (Jeff Fambrough) and Metropolis. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
