She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Joe Taylor Hyden; her parents, Vernon Ratliff and Sadie Osborne Ratliff; and her son Dr. Alan J. Hyden. She is survived by: her children, Debra Burke (John) of Prestonsburg, KY, Terri Allen (Steve), Dr. Robert Marshall (Lois) and Joe T. Hyden II (Laura). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
