He is survived by: his wife Connie Faye Combs Spencer; his children, Drake Spencer (Faith), Mashayla Paige Spencer of Martin and Alexis Hope Spencer of Martin; his siblings, Stevie Spencer of Paintsville, KY, Janice Houston (Jim) of Hager Hill, KY, Dianna Barnes of Winchester, KY, Beatrice Sergent (Larry) of Paintsville, KY and Penny Fairchild of Paintsville, KY; his grandchildren, Ashton David Newsome and Aiden Lee Newsome; and also Jerry Watkins of Garrett, KY..

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home (331 KY-122, Martin, KY 41649). A masonic service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Highland Memorial Park (551 Kentucky Rte 2275, Staffordsville, KY 41256).
