He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Shelton and Dema Baker Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Martha Mae Turner Shelton; and his siblings, Cecil J. Shelton, Carolyn Yurvaich, Louise Belcher, Shirley Wilkerson and Verna Ryker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
