He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornish M. "Pete" Carter and Pauline Patterson Carter; and his brother Sammy Carter. He is survived by: his wife Martha Lou Wiegel Carter of Georgia; his children, Patrick Carter of Georgia and Lacy Carter of Georgia; his grandchildren, Kailey Carter of Georgia, Marcus Carter of Georgia, Paxton Carter of Georgia and Jax Jackson Carter of Georgia; and his brothers, Rev. Jerry Carter of Owensboro and Paul Carter of Bowling Green. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Bennett Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
