He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Burns and Dealie Baker Burns; and his siblings, Winston Burns, Winford Burns, Jerry Burns, Elizabeth Shockey and Ethel Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Martha McDaniel Burns; his daughter Johnna Henning (Shaun); his grandsons, Eli and Alex Henning; his siblings, Cecil Burns, Noah Burns, Mae Sarver and Ann Wilson (Larry); and his grandmother Shepherd. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lucy Angel Cemetery.
