He is survived by: his sisters, Mildred Beck, Mary Alice Presley and Dorthy Sapp; his wife Martha Carter; his sons, Charles Carter, Jr. (Tammy) of Madisonville and Steve Carter of Madisonville; and his siblings, Joyce Henry (Mackey) of Owensboro, KY, Helen Lamb of Madisonville and David Carter of Madisonville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
