She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bill Mays and Stella Coleman Mays; her husband Herbert Hoover Lewis; and her sisters, Lavon Brehm, Doris Swick and Christine Ratliff.
She is survived by: her children, Scottie Herbert Lewis of Marrowbone, KY and Kristina Beth Crum (Eddie) of Pikeville, KY; her grandchildren, Scotty Herbert Lewis, II, Bethanie Crum Cofiell (Steven) and Blake Edward Crum; and her brothers, Don Edward Mays (Verona) of Louisville, KY and Scottie Earl Mays (Wanda) of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel (112 Elkhorn St, Elkhorn City, KY 41522). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
