It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Cooke Cates of Marion, Kentucky, who passed away on July 30, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cooke and Kathleen Cooke; her husband Joe Cooke; and her children, Jenny Cates Day and Jason Cates.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jessica Conger (Ryan) of Marion and Ashley Wood (Justin) of Smithland, One; her sister Penny Jankovich of Crown Point, IN.; her sister-in-law Patty Cooke of Hammond, Ind.; her brothers, Dan Cooke (Joy) of Sparta, TN. and Ted Cooke (Pattie) of Whidbey Island, WA.; and her friend Charlie Nesbitt. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
