He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Rudd and Imogene Rudd; his wife Wanda Priscilla Browning Rudd; his brother John David Rudd; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Bugg.
He is survived by: his daughters, Regina Merrick (Todd) of Marion and Andrea Peak (Ted) of Charlestown, IN; his grandchildren, Emily Merrick (Ben Jay) of Brooklyn, NY, Ellen Merrick of Evansville, IN, Adam Peak and Susanna Peak of Charlestown, IN; his sister Jill Bugg of Symsonia; and his siblings-in-law, Deanna Rudd of Baxley, GA and Wayne Browning (Rosemary) of Symsonia. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
