He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Bella Allcock; his parents, Rayburn Doom and Lossie Mae Doom; his parents-in-law, Charles and Shirley Hackney; his siblings, Charles, Jimmy, Timmy Doom, Marcena Chaney, Odie Huff and Hazel Freisner; and his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Berry, James Bates, Tom Chaney and Ed Bessler.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Doom of Marion, KY; his children, Rocky Doom of Marion, KY, Jo McAlister (Eddie) of Marion, KY and Chasity Allcock (Travis) of Marion, KY; his grandchildren, Dane Allcock of Marion, KY, Destiny Pulley (Drew) of Cadiz, KY and Michaela Findley of Madisonville, KY; his daughters, Savannah McAlister of Cottonwood, CA and Mariah McAlister of Marion, KY; and his siblings, Jerrold Doom (Joy) of Marion, KY, Wanda Berry of Marion, KY, Gail Hackney (Ronnie) of Smithland, KY, Eula Bates of Paducah, KY, Darlene Bessler of Valparaiso, IN and Barbie Eaton (Mike) of Elkhart, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
