He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dallas Miniard, Jay Miniard and Hurst Miniard; and his parents, Bill Miniard and Arreta Miniard (Richardson).

He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Taylor (Scott) and Staci Brammer (Joe); his brothers, Ed Miniard of Marion, Tony Miniard of Frances, Doug Miniard (Kim) of Paducah, Don Miniard and Ralph Miniard; his grandchildren, Eric Taylor, Tabitha Taylor and Jackson Brammer; and his sister Juanita Nolan of Salem. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
