She was predeceased by: her father George Foster; and her stepson Jason McDowell. She is survived by: her husband James "Butch" McDowell of Marion, KY; her daughters, Kelly Grady (Zack Olson) of Louisville, KY and Amy Byford (Jared) of Marion, KY; her stepdaughter Jeana Lowery (Daniel) of Eddyville, KY; her siblings, Don Foster (Brenda) of Burna, KY, David Foster (Teresa) of Burna, KY and Jan Tasa (Randy) of Henderson, KY; her mother Dorothy Foster (Fletcher) of Salem, KY; and her grandchildren, Noah Byford, Jordy Byford, Beau Byford, Evan McDowell, Marley Phelps and Jacob Phelps.
